The asset class describes the type of assets being invested in, such as stocks, bonds, commodities, or real estate. Each asset class has different return and risk characteristics and serves to diversify a portfolio.
The risk class indicates how high the risk is that's associated with a particular investment strategy. It ranges from low (conservative strategies with a high proportion of bonds) to high (dynamic strategies with a high share of stocks). At Ginmon, the risk class is determined by the choice of strategy, e.g. Global 6 or Green 10.
