Are already paid capital gains taxes refunded as soon as I set up a tax exemption order?

If taxes on capital gains have already been paid and you later submit a tax exemption order, these taxes will not be refunded retroactively. A tax exemption order only applies to future earnings. But if you paid too much tax, you can get it back through your yearly income tax return with the tax office.
